Discover News, Events and Opportunities to Learn and Serve in the Huntington Beach Stake of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints
Dear President Johnson,
I know it has been a couple of week, but I wanted to email you and take the opportunity to thank you. A friend and I brought our Sunday School classes down to Huntington Beach to see to go through the Tabernacle replica. We wanted to let you know how much we appreciated the time and effort that went into that event. Even though our youth enjoyed it very much, I think it was the two adults that got the most out of it. It was a testimony building experience for me as I learned the rituals and things they did so long ago and how they are so similar and relate so much to what we do now. We were also impressed with the youth who did the presenting and how well they carried themselves. I wish I had gotten his name, but there was a particular young man (I’m assuming was a deacon) that was so well prepared with his part. He was inside the cultural hall describing the clothing/skins that were used. I know that an event of this magnitude is a great and time consuming effort. We just so appreciate the time and effort that was put in to make it happen.

I have questions about possibilities of using your tabernacle and supplies for a stake youth event in Southern Utah. Can you please help me connect with the right people?
My name is Carol Burtis and I’m the CERT Coordinator for the HB Fire Department. I was wondering if there is an email address that I could send an invitation to a special event here in Huntington Beach for your church leaders? I tried looking at your web sites and couldn’t find one. Thanks so much!
