Gather together with local choirs, community and church members and the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra to sing your heart out and celebrate the birth, life, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, all coming together to perform Handel’s Messiah.

This Easter season concert is a biennial event presented by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, this year directed by choir music director Mark Wilberg and featuring four notable soloists.  Previous sing-along events held in 2014 and 2016 drew tens of thousands of participants joining in with the live feeds.

The 2018 open-house event will be held on Palm Sunday, March 25 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 8702 Atlanta Avenue, Huntington Beach. A pre-concert broadcast about the Messiah will begin at 5:30 p.m., and the sing-along will begin streaming at 6:00 p.m. The famed Hallelujah Chorus will begin at approximately 7:45 p.m.

Musical scores and production information can be downloaded from 2018. Refreshments will be provided at the event.

This is a great opportunity to mingle with friends and neighbors and raise your voice with the renowned Mormon Tabernacle Choir in celebration. Previous singing experience is not required – just bring your voice and heart and community spirit.
