Community Day of ServiceWe will have a community day of service on Saturday, April 27th. Save the date! The Community Service Day began as Mormon Helping Hands.  Six years ago the Interfaith council took responsibility to sponsor the annual event.  This year the Service day is chaired by the Pastor at Resurrection Lutheran and most projects are coordinated by other faith groups, with our church sponsoring one project, the Hearts and Hands at 17th st. building.  But the interfaith community still looks to our church for strength in numbers of volunteers. Members are encouraged to serve at any project that they feel best for them and their family.  However, to spread out the volunteer hours and support all projects, the following assignments should be given first priority.  We hope that friendships will be made with other community members as an added bonus to the service given. Instead of finding other church friends to serve alongside, spread out and meet others.
Annual Interfaith BreakfastOn Thursday, May 2nd from 8:00 to 9:00 am at the 17th st building.  19191 17th Street, Huntington Beach. Come meet civic and faith leaders.
